Battle Pong

So I got my first taste of Battle Pong and enjoyed the experience very much. Basically all the rules of Beer pong are erased, except for the fact that you sink a cup, it still makes the other team drink a cup.

The point of Battle Pong is basically if a ball ricochets off of the cup into the air (without touching the table) the opposing team can hit the ball (by swatting it) at the team that shot.

If the ball hits somebody from the shooting team, they owe a cup. If it hits them in the face it counts as two and it does happen (just ask my forehead). If the shooting team catches it, then the swatting team owes a cup.

This is a fairly new game to us, so I'm sure more and more rules will be made, but so far it was pretty fun.

I still like regular beer pong better, but if most of the rules are implemented into Battle Pong, then I think we have something here.

Predictions

So as you may have guessed, my predictions were wrong. The great Argentina failed...miserably. There are a few lessons learned here:

1. Don't hire a coach who doesn't know what he's doing.
2. Don't watch the game where the opposing fans might be.

1. Maradona, though one of (if not the) best player of all time, knows how to play soccer. That is it though. He doesn't understand tactics nor the politics that are behind coaching a national soccer team. I'm not an expert as you may have guessed, but come on now. He surrounded himself with Yes-men and never created a game plan. Rather than sub out Otamendi (who will one day be a good player for us at the correct position) he waited untli the 70th minute when Germany scored again to get him out. I mean come on, he was getting burnt left and right bad. He was getting beat so bad that other players had to come back to help out, wasting another player and putting him out of position. Then he makes subs too little too late. It was a bad coached game and something I am not looking forward to in the future if he stays on. We advanced to the Quarterfinals purely on talent. Imagine what we could've done if we were well coached.

I like Maradona and like that he was a part of the team, but he needs to be an assistant coach. Too bad his head is too big to grasp this and it will never happen. He's inspring and got through to the players, but failed to use any strategy during any game.

Maradona was also biased, come on he brand up Palermo a 37 year old washed up striker. Keep in mind that striker was the one position we were heavy on. Tevez, Messi, Higuain, Milito, Aguero, did we really need 6? He couldn't have saved that spot for Zanetti or Cambiasso two of the best players in the world at their positions! Damnit man, use your freaking head!

2. I realized (although I guess I have always known) that I am very invested into Argentine football. I wake up thinking about it and read up on it during the day and go to bed still trying to absorb as much information as I can. I wish I would've played soccer at a young age so that I can get a better understanding for the sport, but didn't so I guess I'm making up for lost time.

That being said, I hardly brag about it until after the result of a game. I'm not one to guarantee a victory over a team nor bet someone on Argentina to win (unless it's a game that doesn't matter-like Greece). I'm even pretty modest about winning games, because I don't want to jinx us. I didn't brag to anyone about the Mexico vs Argentina game nor the Korea vs Argentina game... and trust me I could've. I could've been nasty.

When watching the game with random people at a cafe in Long Beach with some Germans was one of the hardest things to endure. When they cheered, I wanted to punch. When they grunted, I wanted to punch. Basically whenever they made a noise I wanted to punch. I didn't. But I was pretty pissed. I now know, that in the future I need to watch the games at home (alone or with my family) so that I can scream as loud as I want or strangle a pillow if I'm upset. It's so hard to contain yourself during something you care so much about. Ugh.

When it comes to the 49ers or UCLA I root for them like a die hard fan, but I'm willing to brag and talk crap with the next guy, but with Argentina I'm too emotionally invested. Maybe because the world cup comes every 4 years or probably because the players are Argentinean no matter what. They don't get traded to another country. Once they play for us, they are ours. We share this bond. Argentina means too much to me.

So now my Argentine brethren we must wait another 4 years to see our nation battle in Brazil. Hopefully we win a few Copa Americas in the meantime and learn to play as a team with a new coach (hopefully not an Argentine, because they are very often biased, just as Maradona showed).

They had a good tournament, but it could've gone so much better. We have potential though... lots and lots of potential.

oh btw My prediction is Spain beats Germany, but who really cares :(

Prediction: Quarter Finals

I was completely correct on my last predictions (the scores were off on a few, but pretty close).

Brazil, Spain, Paraguay, and Netherlands were all winners.

Now the fun starts...

Brazil vs Netherlands

This is one of the most anticipated games of the quarterfinals. Both of these teams have played fantastic, but one's tournament has to end here. The winner of the match will have a easy route through Uruguay or Ghana into the finals. So this games means everything to both teams. My brain is telling me that Brazil will win this, but my gut is saying it will be the Netherlands who pull it off. My final prediction is a 2-2 tie, going to a penalty shoot out that the Netherlands win. A huge upset, but great game.

Ghana vs Uruguay

Uruguay has not looked very strong throughout the tournament. Ghana has shown some promise, but they're Ghana. I think Ghana will magically continue their run into the semi-finals becoming the first African nation to do so. Ghana wins 1-0.

Argentina vs Germany

On the other side of the bracket we have the most anticipated game of the world cup. The true final! Both teams have been playing fantastic football. Messi has yet to score, but I just know that will change in this game. I believe Argentina will just be too strong for Germany as they will be tested over and over again. Messi scores, Higuain scores, and then Messi again. Argentina wins this 3-2, just in the nick of time. Vamos vamos argentina, vamos vamos a ganar!

Germany beat Argentina last year in the 1/4 finals on penalty kicks. If it goes to penalties, we have a much better shooting team (not to mention Goalie) than we had 4 years ago. Also, Argentina played Germany just before the world cup and beat them 1-0 in Germany. We's got this baby! I hope Maradona comes on the field through Messi and rips them apart. Revenge! Revenge! Argentina aguante!

Spain vs Paraguay
The final game of the 1/4 finals should be an easy game for Spain. They are just now finding their true form and playing some good football. They will win this, after keeping us in suspense for the whole first half. This time it won't be Villa scoring, Torres will finally come through. Spain wins this easily 2-0.

Those are my predictions, let's hope the soccer Gods are still in Maradona's favor...

Predictions Rd of 16 Part II

So 3-4 of my predictions were correct and I knew Ghana would beat the US, but didn't want to have that as a prediction because it just didn't feel right.

Here are the rest of the round of 16 predictions :

Chile vs Brazil

Chile will keep this one close. Brazil will not be able to steamroll their way past them, but will get the win in the end (it's what they do best, basturds). I believe Brazil will in this 3-1 (a late 2 goals to keep it out of reach).

Netherlands vs Slovakia

Netherlands has never won a world cup. Neither has Slovakia. Only thing is Netherlands actually has had several chances, because they are an elite team. They are going to be way too strong for Slovakia. They called Slovakia the "Giant killers", their luck runs out today. Sorry David, Goliath is going to stomp on you. Netherlands win this one easy 2-0.

Paraguay vs Japan

People are talking about this guy Honda. He's reliable, fast, and quick unlike Honda cars, just kidding. I like Hondas. Anyway, Japan has been a force to be reckoned with, but to be honest they are lucky to even be here. South American teams will continue their rule of this world cup and Paraguay will prevail. I'm feeling 2-1 in Paraguay's favor here. Ore - me- gato Mr Robato, this will be your last match.

Espana vs Portugal

The exciting match of this series. #1 ranked team vs the #3 ranked team. When Portugal played Spain I honestly thought that they (Portugal) played a better game. They had the better chances, but just couldn't finish. Spain has a history of choking and Portugal is finally playing good. My gut is telling me to choose Portugal on this one as they are on a high right now, but I just can't. Spain is strong and will pull this off. I believe this will be a high scoring game, but in the end Spain wins 2-2. Spain wins off penalties! Hey Christiano, at least you still have your good looks.

Let's see how I do. I'm starting to get the bubble guts for the Germany vs Argentina game on Saturday, what a classic it can be. Vamos Argentina, I hope their magic never runs out. Messi has to score, hopefully 5 against Germany.

Predictions

USA vs Ghana

2-1

USA is going to keep us on our toes, but we're going to magically pull it off again!

S Korea vs Uruguay

0-1
S Korea barely made it out of the group. Too bad their trip will end here. Uruguay will win, but Forlan will not score.

England vs Germany

England hasn't found form throughout the tournament. Will today be the day? I think not. Germany will win this one easily 2-0.

Argentina vs Mexico

They played in 2006 and Mexico was eliminated, they played at the confederations cup and Mexico was eliminated on penalties. I believe Argentina are just too strong right now and will win this one comfortably.

2-0. Messi will get his goal

Let's hope my predictions are right!

Predictions

So my predictions thus far, have been ok. I called the 3-1 Brazil vs Ivory Coast game, but that was my real thought, not what I put. Besides that I think I got the win right on another, but sucked on the rest of my picks.

Portugal vs N. Korea

I think Portugal bounces back from a crappy 1st game showing and scores 7, probably 6 in the 2nd half. Hehe, I didn't get to this one on time, but that is what happened. Amazing.

Chile vs Switzerland

I think Chile will pull this off with a 2-1 win and secure their spot into the 2nd round of the tournament.

Spain vs Honduras

Spain will make a huge comeback, as Portugal did. Not that big though. I'm predicting 3-0. I believe those are the games for today. Let's see how I do.

World Cup Fever

Has it struck you yet? The need/desire to wake up at 4am to watch some futbol. The world's biggest sporting event and a personal favorite of mine!

This world cup hasn't been spectacular, unless you're an Argentina fan. Besides that, games are ending 1-0, 0-0, 1-1 pretty lame, not to mention referees who take goals away for some reason (1 against USA, 1 against Mexico). Games were more fun in world cups of past, but hopefully things get more exciting once the round of 16 starts. I decided to write day by day on my predictions for the next games wins. I know this is pretty late considering we're almost done w/ the 2nd round of games of the group stages, but none the less it gets me writing about my favorite time that only comes around every 4 years. There is still one game today :

Cameroon vs Denmark
and 3 tomorrow :
Slovakia vs Paraguay
Italy vs New Zealand
Brazil vs Ivory Coast
Here are my predictions:

Cameroon vs Denmark 1-0

Both of these teams lost their 1st games so it's a must win situation going into today's game. Cameroon has Samuel Eto'o one of the star players in the world cup. He started his world cup career as one of the youngest players ever at 17 years old. He's legit, and I believe Cameroon will prevail on this game winning a boring game 1-0. Denmark, just didn't have any offense against Netherlands and looked very weak.

Slovakia vs Paraguay 0-1

Paraguay managed to shock Italy by taking the early lead and played pretty well. They were very organized and I truly believe should have beat Italy. I think they go on and win this game another boring 1-0 and improve their chances of making it out of the group. Sorry Slovakia, welcome to the world cup, but your campaign isn't going past the group stages.

Italy vs New Zealand 2-0 (the Azurri vs All Whites)

Italy has never been known for having a great offense. This is especially true when the coach jacks up and doesn't take any of his best forwards, Totti, Balotelli, Toni, not to mention them dropping the American, Rossi, from the team too. I believe New Zealand is just that weak and isn't going to be able to penetrate Italy's defense although they are nowhere near the quality they were least year. Italy will win this 2-0.

Brazil vs Ivory Coast 2-2 (Seleccao vs the Elephants)

Finally the only game that is interesting this day. This is a must watch, because Ivory Coast are full of heart and Brazil doesn't seem to be playing with one anymore. I believe Brazil will be too powerful, because like Argentina they boast the best players in the world, but Ivory Coast will challenge and create some chances that Drogba will finish. This game will end in a draw, but will be exciting as Brazil hits the post at least twice. To be honest I think Brazil will win this 3-1, but am rooting for a draw. Hopefully they don't find their form against Ivory Coast, because I like rooting for this African underdog, or should I say underelephant (they are known as the elephants)

Well those are my predictions, the main reason I am doing this is because I got a fever, and the only cure is more football. I can't wait for July 11 to come (1 because of my 9 year anniversary with Bianca, and 2 because that will be the world cup final Arg vs Brazil!)

Let's hope the soccer Gods come and give Argentina a hand (get it?).

2010 FIFA WORLD CUP!

I can almost smell the fresh cut grass. I can almost feel the spit flying out of the horns that are echoing across the stadium. I can hear the chants of the fans cheering on their countries. It's almost freaking here!!! The world cup starts this Friday. I'm about to pee my pants I'm so excited.

I checked the schedule and many games are starting early morning for us. Early means 4:30am & 7am. I am pumped, because this means I won't have to miss too much work to watch my games.

The first and most exciting week of soccer to watch is going to be this Saturday. We got Argentina vs Nigeria, S Korea vs Greece, and USA vs England. I'm probably going to have some BBQs for days like this Saturday or order a pizza or something. I'm pumped.

LA Galaxy vs Boca Juniors

So the Los Angeles Galaxy is going to be playing a match against Argentina's Boca Juniors. These are two teams that I root for going head to head at the Home Depot Center. This sounds like a good time waiting to happen. I found tickets as cheap as $20 on tickemaster so the plan is a must.

Riquelme vs Beckham, Donovan vs Palermo, some big names and big fun. Who's in?

Coacheesy

So in case you haven't heard. Coachella was definitely an awesome time. Music was great, our group was fun, and the atmosphere was magical. So it is now time to talk about the best and worst things about Coachella.

Best Things

1. Muse- I don't get it. How can someone be so talented? Matt Bellamy must have been playing the guitar and piano while breast feeding as a baby and when he wasn't breast feeding he was practicing his vocals. He's insanely talented and God willing will bless us with more albums. I honestly think he is a musical genius just as Mozart was during his time. Great band, great time.

2. Thom Yorke- It's Thom Yorke. I don't think he needs much of an explanation (In case he does, he's the voice behind Radiohead). I think one cool thing about Coachella is that you get to see so many bands play so when it's time for someone like Thom Yorke to play you can just see how great he truly is. He is on a whole other level. Not to mention Flea Slapping the bass! Slappa da bass Mon! (I Love you, Man. If you haven't seen it, watch it; pretty funny). I didn't realize how good Flea was until he was jamming with Thom Yorke.
3. The house- Michelle (MVP) made a great choice in a house to rent. There was a bbq grill that Holt handled like a true iron chef and a pool & Jacuzzi that came in quite handy in the scorching heat. I got to practice my synchronized swimming with Herrera, Holt, and Karle that was good times. Air conditioning, wireless internet, the game on tv, and an infinite selection of food/snacks. Michelle (Sleecher) truly set this up to perfection.

Worst Things

1. Traffic- Come on now! Coachella has been around for a decade already. Figure out a way to get the traffic right for once. There is no reason that people have to take over 3 hours to travel 5 miles. They need to do something about this, becaues it was insane this year.

2. 15,000 extra people- I think Coachella will think long and hard about doing the whole wristband thing again. They really blew it. That place was Packt like Sardines everywhere you tried to go.

3. The tents- This may be an unfair review of the tents, since I only got to witness 2 performers. The first being that Minny Mouse singing girl. I don't know what her name was, but she had a Vanilla ice wannabe rapping along with her. Pretty terrible, I apologize for not recording here. I don't know what I was thinking. The 2nd performers were Two Many DJs I can see why people can like them, but their visuals were whack (Nicolas Cage and some little kid bobbing their heads to the beat) and I just wasn't feeling it. Maybe if I was on something I could have appreciated it, but at that point in the night I was definitely over it.

4. Stories about being wasted. Nuff Said.

Honorary Mention

Them Crooked Vultures- That was one of the best moments for me. I'm not sure if it was because the band was rocking it or if it was because at this moment our main group came together as a whole for the first time. Michelle finally made it in with Gloria, Steph and I found Jose, Holt, and the rest of them. It was a good moment that the band must have felt too, because they were just on fire at that moment.

LCD Soundsystem- They were just plain fun. We had the best dance session here (sorry Steph for not mentioning the red light being off on the camera). Everyone was going crazy, so maybe it was a good thing the camera didn't record it. We wouldn't experience a dance sesh as good as this one, but it was definitely fun.
Holt's Chicken- bawwwwwwmmm.
I'm sure there are 100s of other things to mention, but I have been writing for a while now and will leave the rest to pics and videos. Thanks for reading.

Is it finally time?

So for the first time in a long time the 49ers finally picked up a couple of players that I actually wanted. Well to be honest I didn't care about what players they were, but what position they are. Both Offensive-Line (meaning the big boys that block people).

I think we just made the 49ers a play-off bound team and I'm pretty excited about it. Frank Gore is going to have huge holes to run through (that's what she said) and Alex Smith is finally going to have some time to get the ball out of his hands (that's what he said). This is going to be a good year!

So if you want to watch any 49ers games this year just let me know. The 49ers are playing the Chargers in San Diego some time in December, so that is a definite plan waiting to happen.

Coachella

So who are the best bands around right now? That question can be up for debate for hours upon hours. One thing for sure is that a few of those bands that would be on the possible list for best bands around right now are: Radiohead, Muse, Gorillaz. All three will be peforming at Coachella. Ok, Radiohead isn't going to be there, but Thom Yorke will be and he's damn good by himself as well.

I've been to a few Coachella Music and Art festivals in the past and have enjoyed every experience thus far. I saw Bjork, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Weezer (awesome btw), Oasis, Keane and many many other band/singers. I have never been as excited to see a band as I am excited for Gorillaz (which technically isn't really a band, it's more Damon with featured guest and his house band). Plastic Beach, their new album, is insane. I liked it right away, but grew to love it. "Meloncholy Hill" will make anyone start to listen to the album and just as you think you can change the CD, you're intrigued by the strange sounds of "Empire Ants". I have like 5-6 songs that I play over and over and over again, while playing COD, driving, or simply just hanging out at home. A Great album plus the quirkiness of the Gorillaz add a few effects and this equation will call for an awesome show. I'm pretty pumped for it!

I've seen Muse perform a couple of times and am excited for them as well. They are so talented, and to this day I still haven't seen anyone perform like Matt Bellamy. Coachella is going to be awesome. I'll post up pics and videos when I can.

Michael Buble

So Bianca finally got to use the Christmas Present I got her (4 1/2 months later), which were tickets to the Michael Buble Crazy Love Tour concert in the Staples Center yesterday on Apr 9, 2010.

I was a little leery about going to the concert because as I have described Buble on numerous occasions, "he is just a glorified American Idol contestant". He doesn't write (much) of his own music and basically sings karaoke for a couple of hours (this was my whole idea of who MB was). Don't get me wrong, I enjoy his voice and have listened to his albums on repeat from time to time, but I thought he was overpaid and got too much hype. I was wrong.

Buble is a performer and was awesome. He was funny, entertaining, and had a very likable personality. He's not cocky like I thought he was and wasn't boring at all. It was definitley a pleasant surprise and I am officially a fan of his now.

He had the perfect mix of standup, as he went through a few people in the crowd and embarrassed them a little, and singing (and boy can he sing). At one point in the show he walked away from his mic and was singing out loud without one. The stadium was dead silent , but you can somehow still here Buble clear from every seat in the house. He had such a powerful voice, it was amazing to me.

MB was a pleasant experience and I'm glad that we had the oppurtunity to watch him. I'm highly considering taking vocal lessons for a while so that I can improve my singing and one day perform for my fans at the Staples Center. Is it a dream or destiny?

Whale Watchers

So Steph and I have finally made the decision to lose weight for real. We started up weight watchers and are going to take it very seriously. I have less than 8 months to lose my weight before the BIG DAY, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh (that's "ah" terrified, not "awe" cute). My initial goal was 80 lbs, but I think I'll be happy with losing 50 lbs. I mean I am a strapping young man regardless of weight.

Oh, and the story behind whale watchers takes us back to when I was a wee lad. One night, during the week, my mother and father were leaving the house. I asked them where they were headed and they told me weight watchers. I assumed they said whale watching and asked if I could go. They didn't let me :(. I was so jealous and upset that they wouldn't take me. I vowed to one day, when I was old enough, go to whale watching during the week at night. Unfortunately for me, I stuck to my promise and am now doing weight watchers during the week at night. Sad.

I'm starting at 274 lbs. That's right 274 lbs. I wrestled at 160 lbs in high school (that wasn't my normal weight), but I am definitely close to 100 lbs heavier than what my normal weight in high school was. I'll be setting up before and after pics, probably every 2 weeks so we can see results in the making.

If anyone has any tips, strategies, or recipes don't be greedy and let me know. Thanks for your support.

And the Snubbing Goes To...

So Oscar night is officially over and the snubbing has begun! I haven't seen all of the movies that were up for best picture, but did watch all 3 of the front runners: Inglorious Basterds, The Hurt Locker, and Avatar.

In my opinion Avatar should've won. Easily. The guy changed the way movies are made and yet, he get's snubbed twice (for best picture and best director). His movie was the biggest thing ever to happen to the movies and yet, he doesn't come home with the trophy. That is some BS. The Hurt Locker was 3rd on my list between those 3 movies. It was slow at times, and dragged on. I get it, it's about what is going on with a handful of our troops that are overseas, but really a movie should win for it's story and the way it was filmed. Not because it's about a serious topic.I respect and pray for our troops too, but just because a movie is made about it, doesn't mean that it should've won.

Too often does the academy choose a movie, simply because it's sad. The Hurt Locker was a good movie, but didnt' nearly deserve the hype and awards that it won.

This goes for Meryl Streep too. I didn't see Blind Side, so can't really hate on Sandra Bullock winning best actress. But Meryl Streep did such a good job on Julie & Julia, I can't see how someone else could've beaten her.

Well this is just my opinion, I'm sure some of you agree or disagree. To those who disagree with me, Snub you!

Heavy Lies the Crown

Zen Robbi has come out with a new album, "Heavy Lies the Crown" and I must say it's pretty damn good. Go on check it out, you can download it on itunes or buy a copy off Timmy. That's right, if you didn't know him you'd assume that Zen Robbi was just another up and coming band. Well they are... but it's also Tim Baker's band (an LD Products employee and personal friend of mine). They're extremely talented and have proven it again with this new album.

Song like "Assh*les" and "Kings of California" will pay rent in your head and ultimately become a home owner at a low APR. I found myself singing "Assh*les" all day yesterday and that's not a bad thing at all.

Good luck to Timmy and Zen Robbi, great album hope to see you top the billboards!

San Francisco Valentines Pillow Fight

Feathers filled the air, flashes of white lights in my head, it was a scene straight from Braveheart (or any other war movie) with soldiers screaming "freedom" and eyes filled with rage. It was the 3rd annual Valentines Pillow Fight in San Francisco.

I didn't know what I was getting myself into when I agreed to take part in this event, but I'm sure glad I did. I've heard that over 7,000 people attended the mass pillow fight at Justin Herman Plaza once the clock struck 6pm on Sunday and I think that's pretty accurate, because the streets were full (and I mean full) of people clutching pillows in their hands.

I admit when I first walked up and saw the mess I was a little nervous. There were mosh pits of people swinging their pillows as hard as they can and often making contact with sombody's head. When we finally walked into a mosh pit we saw a 1 v 1 battle between two guys who were going at it pretty intensely. Once the fight looked like it was going to turn to fist, the two guys smiled and shook hands, "good fight". The overall morale was friendly, although there was the occasional crazy person (who we avoided when possible).

There were a few mosh pits I joined in and swung my pillow cracking the smile off a few people's faces, but remember this was a pillow fight, so I too took a blow or two. In one incident I was walking away from the mosh pit and boom, I saw a white flash, I turn around to see who nailed me and got cracked again by someone else. A wave of energy filled my body and I rushed back into the mosh pit to unleash a fury on others. I'm sure a few other people saw the "white flash" and although I'm unsure if I hit the guys who cheap shotted me, I like to think I got them back. I had to eventually come out of the pit, because my lungs were full of feathers. We saw people walk up with masks and thought they were just wusses, man was I wrong. I wish I had a mask. I think i'm still coughing out feathers from time to time.

The fight lasts from 6pm to 10pm and turns into a dance party with a DJ. We didn't stay long enough for the dance party, but did have an awesome time. I recommend if you are ever near the bay area during valentines to participate in this extravoganza. It's guaranteed good times.

Spiderman 4

Wow, I just read that the production of Spiderman 4 has been aborted. How do you quit on the series that has grossed over $750,000,000 per movie that they have made? Spiderman 3 was even more successful than Spiderman 2, so you think you got to continue with what's hot.

Tobey Mcguire will no longer play Peter Parker (spiderman) and Kirsten Dunst will no longer be Mary Jane (which I think is a good thing since she's hideous anyway).

The villain of part 4 was supposed to be Carnage which is one of the great villains in comic books. I was really looking forward to this. It's a shame. From what I heard Marvel was bought out by Disney so of course Disney is going to make the movie the way they do. The new Spiderman movie which is still set to be made is going to take place as Peter Parker is in high school. I'm guessing it's going to be High School Musical meets Spiderman which is going to be terrible. Whatever, I'll still watch it and probably memorize some of the dances (ok definitely memorize some of the songs), but it's a shame. It truly is. At least Percy Jackson and the Olympians looks AWESOME.
Good luck Zack Effron as Spiderman!

Vizsla Puppies

Happy New Year everybody! On New Years Day I went to Arrowhead. There isn't much to do there, so like always we went to the Arrowhead outlets and shopped. What I wasn't expecting to shop for was a little brown puppy. It was so cute. It was a weiner dog (a salchichon) and the perfect gift for my mother. Luckily, I text Steph and she talked me out of it.

Through this experience I realized how much I missed my little Dukey Wukey :( . I miss having a dog (a real dog, not Cassady (Pablo's dog)). So Monday morning came around and Steph and I decided to look up Vizsla rescues which lead to vizsla puppies and they are cutest things ever! I wish this van was ours!
Steph and I are waiting for the ok from Mom so that we can "rescue" a dog soon. I want to do it soon, because I know I won't be able to handle a vizsla on my own once Bianca and I get married. Vizsla's have way too much energy for us. So this is my last chance at living with a vizsla before the wedding.
I love you Dukey!
